About Us

A decorated table for a sweet sixteen celebration. — Elks Lodge Centereach
A decorated table for a sweet sixteen celebration.

Forty-one Horseblock Road is the kind of address locals know by reputation. Elks Lodge 2138 has earned a 4.5-star rating across dozens of reviews, and the praise keeps circling back to one name: Claire. She is the event coordinator who turns a room full of folding chairs and nervous parents into a Sweet 16 that guests talk about for months. That consistency, a hostess who genuinely cares about every detail, is what separates this lodge from a generic banquet hall.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has been a cornerstone of American civic life since 1868, and Lodge 2138 carries that tradition into Centereach, NY with real energy. Members gather here for camaraderie, charitable work, and the kind of honest social life that is harder and harder to find. The bar is stocked, the dining room is welcoming, and the calendar fills up fast.

If you have never stepped inside, picture a space that handles a preschool graduation one month and a husband's retirement celebration the next, pulling off both with equal professionalism. That range is the lodge's quiet superpower.

What We Offer

Event hosting is the headline act at Lodge 2138. The banquet space accommodates milestone birthdays, graduation parties, retirement celebrations, anniversary dinners, and organizational fundraisers. Claire and her staff handle setup, service, and the hundred small logistics that hosts usually lose sleep over, so you can actually enjoy your own party.

Beyond private events, the lodge operates as a full-service bar and dining destination for members and their guests. Stop in on a regular evening for a cold drink, a hot meal, and conversation with neighbors who have been coming here for years. Membership in the BPOE also opens the door to a national network of lodges, local scholarship programs, and community service initiatives that put your dues to work across Suffolk County.

For event inquiries, the best path is a direct call or a visit to the lodge. Dates book quickly, especially in spring and fall, so reaching out early gives you the best shot at securing your preferred weekend.
